Pen-y-Fan was conquered on Boxing Day Posted by: JBTEvans Video duration: 114 seconds The highest mountain in Wales & the UK south of the Snowdonia National Park, Pen-y-Fan (Pennie Van) in the Brecon Beacons was attempted by me and my family on Boxing Day 2008. The mountain stands at 886m above Sea Level (2, 907ft). We made it to about 10 metres from the top, as it was level and windy as hell there, we headed back!
